Will I be charged monthly today?
No. You only pay the $300 intake fee to reserve your visit. Monthly care only begins after clinical acceptance.
What happens during the intake?
Your clinician completes a full medical intake, reviews your history, prescription details, withdrawal symptoms, safety needs, and goals, and gives you a personalized tapering plan or protocol.
Can I get prescriptions after the intake?
No. SafeTaper does not prescribe medication from the intake alone. Prescribing can only be considered after you enroll in ongoing SafeTaper care and a clinician confirms you are clinically accepted for that care.
What if ongoing care is not appropriate?
Monthly care will not start. You still receive the intake assessment and tapering plan from the visit, and your clinician will point you toward safer next steps when local or in-person care is a better fit.
When do $95 visits apply?
After acceptance, clinician visits are scheduled as needed and billed separately at $95. They are not charged unless a visit is scheduled.
