A clinical intake before ongoing care
We ask for only what we need at each step. First we check fit and safety, then you can reserve an intake where a clinician reviews your history, prescription details, and whether ongoing care is appropriate.
Why this starts with intake
Not a sales call
The intake is a clinical visit. SafeTaper does not start taper tools or monthly care unless you are accepted after clinician review.
Clinician-led care
SafeTaper was created by Nathaniel Lepp, MD MPH, a board-certified family medicine and addiction medicine physician focused on benzodiazepine discontinuation.
A full medical intake with a taper plan
The $300 intake is a full medical intake. A clinician spends about an hour reviewing your situation, medication history, safety needs, and goals, then builds a tapering plan or protocol for you.
Monthly care starts only after acceptance
If accepted after intake, monthly care is $250/month. Ongoing clinician visits are scheduled as needed and billed separately.
